I am sure that a bright summer’s day overlooking the Thames and the London Eye would have been spectacular. However, it was a typical blustery and wintery day in December with the grey clouds being pushed across the London skyline.
With London being it’s wintery moody self, I wish I was taking the image in black and white, and had a bit more time on my side. I could have converted the image I took into black and white in Photoshop, but don’t like to do this unless I really have to.
What also interested me about this image was it looked over the train tracks and the river, which people don’t often see. The relative straightness tracks and river contrast against the London Eye next to it. All three offered transportation in very different ways.
I was fortunate that at least one of my images didn’t have reflections on the glass – as often happens when I take photos through a window.
